More Than Just Cleaning Playgrounds

Faith Works Playground Cleaning started with a simple thought: children deserve cleaner and safer spaces to play.

As parents of four children, we used to regularly take our kids to indoor playgrounds and play centers throughout the island. But over time, the cost of constantly visiting indoor play spaces for a family of six became difficult to keep up with. Like many local families, we started spending more time exploring outdoor parks and playgrounds across Oahu instead.

The more parks we visited, the more we began noticing the condition of many of these playgrounds. Some were covered in visible dirt, grime, buildup, and trash. Others had conditions that honestly didn’t feel safe for children at all. It opened our eyes to how overlooked many public play spaces can become despite being used daily by families and children throughout the community.

What started as concern for our own children quickly turned into a bigger mission; helping bring more awareness to the importance of cleaner, healthier, and safer playground environments across Hawaii.

Today, Faith Works Playground Cleaning exists not only to provide professional playground cleaning services, but also to encourage community involvement, volunteerism, and greater care for the spaces our keiki use every day.
